Waterstone at Wellesley, 2012. Reclaimed brick, scrap wood. 3'x6'.

This piece was commissioned by Ted Tye of National Development as part of a new independent living facility in Wellesley, MA. The piece incorporates the fiery orange bricks of Grossman’s Hardware, formerly situated on the Waterstone at Wellesley site. The dark cherry scraps are trim cutoffs scavenged directly from the job site. Special thanks to Scott Engstrom of Elkus Manfredi for involving me in the project.
